  Mrs. Claire Megles, Academic Dean, Language Arts Instructor

  • Cedarville College graduate with a B.A. in English Education and a minor in Bible
  • Twenty-five years teaching experience, including service as a department head and school administrator
  • Journalism instructor- including yearbook and newspaper
  • Speaker at teachers’ conventions and church events
  • Former Sunday school teacher

    Active in PRISM ministry, church choir member, loves writing poetry

Mr. Brandon McCall, Bible/History Instructor, Student Life Director, Founding Board Member

  • Graduate of Grove City College, with a B.A. in History, studies focused on secondary education, United States socio-cultural and military history as well as national security studies, and political science
  • Passionate about education, history, economics, politics, apologetics and the classics 
  • Former co-host of comedic weekly music and talk radio show
  • Played football and intramural sports all four years at Grove City College and currently serves as an assistant coach for the South Allegheny High School Football Team
  • High school athletic experience included football, basketball, soccer, track & field and baseball

Mrs. Leigh Ann Quinlan, Mathematics and Computer Instructor
  • Graduate of Waynesburg University with a BA in Mathematics, graduate courses at California University of Pennsylvania and Carnegie Mellon University
  • Experienced secondary mathematics and computer instructor in both public and private schools in Pennsylvania and out of state
  • Presently teaches Business Mathematics, Pre-Algebra and Algebra 1
  • Very active Sunday School teacher, involved in youth ministry programs

Mr. Ethan Anastas, Science and Mathematics Instructor


  • Graduate of Penn State University, BS in Biotechnology, proficient in many forms of biology, chemistry, physics, advanced mathematics, Biblical Judaism and New Testament studies
  • Professional work experience for large corporations
  • Experienced Young Life Christian outreach leader since 2001

 Mrs. Becky Mayhew, Art Instructor

  • Honors graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh in 1980.
  • Experience as both full-time and freelance artist doing graphic design, caricatures, cartooning, drafting & illustration
  • Over 25 years teaching experience has included a wide range of subjects including: general art curriculum, yearbook, drafting, graphic design, and drama
  • Taught caricature workshops at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh and has been a guest lecturer at Duquesne University, and several local art leagues

Mr. Wes Hileman, Worship Team Instructor

Wes utilized his years of musicianship and worship team experience (including technical expertise) to build a worship team for Cornerstone Prep from the ground up.  Students, staff and parents are in awe of the quality work that has been produced by our musicians, who clearly overflow with passion for music and for serving the Lord in this exciting way!

Mrs. Liz Arnita, Board Member, Guidance Counselor
  • University of Pittsburgh graduate with a degree in psychology, minor in philosophy
  • Functions as a "Life Coach" to help each student achieve maximum potential
  • Years of service working with youth at South Hills Bible Chapel, small group leader, mentor
  • Loves writing Christian messages and discipling teens!
 
Mr. Jeff McElhinny Founding Board Member
  • Organized parent group from Hillcrest Christian Academy to pursue addition of a high school to existing K-8 program
  • Coordinated support for Cornerstone Prep in launch efforts to fulfill the need for a strong Christian high school in the South Hills of PA
  •  
    Business/legal/real estate development and marketing skills bring stability to the board that has been as crucial in the start-up phase as it will continue to be as the school moves toward a vision of independent expanded facilities. 
 
  Mrs. Cindy Dodds, Board Member
  • Administrator of Penn Christian Academy in Butler, PA since July 2004
  • Attended The University of Nebraska where she majored in Early Childhood Development
  • Worked with the Educable Mentally Handicapped in the Omaha Public Schools, owned and operated Beary Special Kids Early Learning Center, established before and after school day care centers in public school systems
  • Former Children’s Ministry Director and School Administrator of South Hills Christian School (PS – 12th Grade), founded “The Sonshine Tree Preschool Learning Center”
  • Established a consulting firm, Development Growth Concepts, dedicated to the funding, development, and growth of Christian schools
  • Worked in the development of the curriculum Evangelism Explosion for Kids, published by Evangelism Explosion International, a ministry of D. James Kennedy, Ft. Lauderdale, Florida; published the preschool curriculum, From A-Z, God Cares About Me
  • Certified development professional, a certified dyslexia testing specialist, an Honorary State Life member of the Nebraska PTA, and has a B.S. in Leadership and Communication from Duquesne University
  • Western PA district representative for the Association of Christian Schools International
     
Mr. Alex Fulton, Founding Board Member
  • 2008 graduate of Grove City College with a bachelor’s degree in history and certification in secondary education
  • Especially interested in the history of education, early modern European history, and Christian apologetics
  • Currently serves as youth football coach
