"Veritas et Virtus" is Latin for truth and virtue.  Christ followers must be on an endless quest for truth, yet the complete truth cannot be taught in our nation's public, charter or private secular schools where any truth that is based on the Christian worldview is excluded.

 

Virtue in its widest sense incorporates essentially good habits, or qualities of excellence such as justice, courage, wisdom and moderation- enumerated by ancient Greek philosophers. 

 

Jesus Christ taught the supernatural virtues of faith, hope and love.  He is the cornerstone of the Christian church and the foundation of our existence.  Our name and crest represent Cornerstone Christian Preparatory Academy's commitment to excellence as we pursue truth and virtue in His name.

Mission Statement
Cornerstone Christian Preparatory Academy exists to prepare scholars in both the secular and sacred realms, thoroughly prepared for the rigors of the finest colleges and universities.
As independent critical thinkers, our graduates possess the wisdom and virtue necessary to be leaders in their fields of expertise, demonstrating a profound respect for humanity and all creation.
With a strong foundation of knowledge in the laws and founding principles of Christ's church and our nation, they will become leaders of our republic and model citizens of the world. Cornerstone Prep's graduates will stand out as articulate defenders of their faith, always ready to offer a defense of the hope that lies within them.

 

 

 

 

1.  "No excuse" results- 

Documented, research-based, time-tested results back up Cornerstone Prep's ambitious mission to equip critical thinking scholars mind, body and soul.  Everything "Christian" must be about the passionate pursuit of excellence- in academics, athletics, fine arts, spiritual growth and development- Cornerstone Prep is a holistic liberal arts education.

 

2.  Christian worldview and daily discipleship-

Christian teachers and administrators present the complete truth in every subject area, which is impossible in public, charter and public cyber-charter schools.  Jesus hand-picked his disciples, teaching and mentoring them daily for three years before He sent them out into the world... and Jesus was GOD!  It is no surprise that 14-year-olds are not yet adequately prepared for the battles they will face with teachers and peers when immersed in the culture.  Cornerstone Prep is a school of discipleship,  committed to graduate every student spiritually and socially mature, articulate defenders of their faith and principles, better prepared for the attacks they will face in college and the world.

 

3.  Life-changing relationships-

Students, staff and parents form meaningful lifelong relationships in smaller classrooms and a smaller school where all of the wisdom of scripture is modeled on a daily basis, including how to form and manage relationships. We understand that for most students, this is their greatest interest at this age.  We are committed to maintain a safe environment of mission-appropriate students, who are willing to work hard, respect staff and each other and support a standard of behavior that is moral and uplifting to the group.

 

4.  Athletic and co-curricular activities-

Cornerstone Prep is serious about fine arts, missions and service, internships and athletics- with a strong plan for steady growth.  Our vision is to grow steadily in the quality and scope of our own programs, while offering complete access to sports we aren't ready to sponsor via cooperative sponsorships with local high schools.
